In the latest example of transmedia storytelling, Venomous, a Young Adult novel by Christopher Krovatin, is being developed into a film by72 Productions and a graphic novel by Dark Horse, according to Variety, under the new title of Deadlocke.  The Dark Horse graphic novel will be by Arvid Nelson (Rex Mundi) and Stan Stakal.

Krovatin’s novel was published under the Ginee Seo Books imprint at Simon and Schuster last year.  It tells the story of a teenager whose superhero alter ego gets involved with his life, illustrated by Kelly Yates.
