Dark Horse will launch two new Buffyverse miniseries, Willow and Spike, in the second half of 2012. Willow #1, shipping November 1, will be written by Jeff Parker and drawn by Brian Ching. It will tell the story of the witch’s journey to recover her magic. 

Spike #1, shipping August 22nd, will be written by Victor Gischler with art by Paul Lee. In this story, Spike gets sucked into a demonic plot as the result of a trip off earth. 

This completes the consolidation of the Buffyverse comic titles at Dark Horse with the core Buffy title. IDW had published Angel and Spike comics. Angel headed to Dark Horse in late 2011 (see “’Angel’ Comic Headed Back to Dark Horse”).
