Disney and Pixar CCO John Lasseter will unveil Disney Infinity, with Disney Interactive co-president John Pleasants, on January 15th, according to Polygon. Disney Infinity is a gaming initiative that’s been attracting very active interest and speculation in recent months. Some, including the Polygon report cited above, believe the game to involve both toys with embedded chips and console and other video gaming platforms. It is known that it will include characters from both Pixar and Disney interacting with each other, and multiple platforms, including mobile and online.
