Gregg Henry who played Mayor MacReady in director James Gunn’s Slither in 2006 and Detective John Felkner in Gunn’s 2010 superhero black comedy Super is joining the cast of Gunn’s adaptation of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy in an as-yet-undisclosed role. Does this mean that other members of Gunn’s stock company like Nathan Fillion and Michael Rooker will also make appearances in Guardians?
Over the weekend Henry tweeted "OK UK Hold on I’m comin’. Joining James Gunn again (Slither, Super), this time for Guardians of the Galaxy. Gonna be great! Can’t wait!"
Let the speculation begin on the role that Henry will play in Guardians of the Galaxy.
