Avatar Press will be distributed to the book, mass merchant, library and other outlets worldwide by Diamond Book Distributors, except in the UK, where the line will continue to be distributed by Titan Books. Most recently, Avatar had been distributed by Simon & Schuster in the U.S. and HarperCollins in Canada via BOOM! Studios (see "Avatar Goes BOOM!"), a deal that started in March of 2011.
But Avatar had previously been distributed by Diamond Book Distributors; Avatar was an early client of the then new company back in 2002 (see "Diamond to Distribute Avatar Press to Bookstores").
"We are pleased to welcome Avatar Press back to our client roster," DBD VP of Sales and Marketing Kuo-Yu Liang said. "I am very excited that we represent their titlese once again to our book market customers and we look forward to helping Avatar grow their business."
