Monte Cook Games has announced the January release of Numenera: The Ninth World Guidebook (MSRP $49.99), a hefty 256-page hardcover that is more than half again as big as any previous supplement to the Origins Award-winning Numenera RPG. The Ninth World Guidebook explores lands that are only hinted at in previous books as it literally expanding the Numenera setting beyond the borders of the core rulebook’s maps.
From the frozen lands beyond the Southern wall to the volcanic desert of the Vralk, and the weird, far-off realm of the Corao, The Ninth World Guidebook will open new vistas and possibilities for adventures as it adds 30 new creatures for GMs, and plenty of new character options for players of the Origins Award-winning Numenera RPG.
Monte Cook Games just released the Numenera Cypher Chest (MSRP $29.99), which contains the Numenera Cypher Deck, XP Deck, and Creature Deck in well-designed box that is sized perfectly to sit on a bookshelf right next to the Numenera hardcovers.
The most recent Numenera supplement from Monte Cook Games was the recent Technology Compendium: Sir Arthour's Guide to the Numenera (MSRP $39.99) in August, preceded by the Numenera Character Options volume that published last spring (see "'Numenera' Character Options").
