BBC America has announced that the 10th Doctor, David Tennant, will appear at a Doctor Who panel on Sunday, July 26th at the San Diego Comic-Con along with writer/executive producer and all-around Who mastermind Russell T. Davies.  Tennant will head to Comic-Con having just completed the final scenes in his tenure as the time-traveling Doctor.  He will take questions from the audience and comment on clips from the four Doctor Who specials that BBC America will airing (see “Final Tennant Doctor Who’s to America”) after Comic-Con.

Davies will also be in San Diego to celebrate the highly rated BBC America series Torchwood, along with star John Barrowman, fellow executive producer Julie Gardner, and director Euros Lyn.  They will all appear at a BBC America panel on Sunday afternoon along with three key members of the cast of the new science fiction drama Being Human.  Russell Tovey, Lenora Crichlow, and Aldan Turner will discuss what it’s like to play twentysomethings who lead secret double lives as a werewolf, a vampire, and a ghost.

The cult-hit comedy series The Mighty Boosh, which is airing on the Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim (see “The Mighty Boosh on Adult Swim”), will be the subject of a Friday afternoon panel at San Diego.  Julian Baratt and Noel Fielding will appear at the panel to discuss their surreal creation, which the BBC is releasing on DVD here in the U.S. on July 21st.
