New York Comic Con News--Seven Seas Entertainment has announced two new manga licenses, Alice in the Country of Clover, the sequel to the highly popular shojo series Alice in the Country of Hearts, and Angel Para Bellum, a new series about sexy angels fighting demons by Nozumu Tamaki, the creator of the popular Dance in the Vampire Bund series.

Alice in the Country of Clover continues the re-imagining of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland.  Based on the game scenarios created by Japanese game company Quin Rose, Alice in the Country of Clover is a sequel to Alice in the Country of Hearts, but can be enjoyed independently.  Alice in the Country of Hearts, which was published here by Tokyopop, was at its peak, a “top five” shojo property here in North America.

The one-shot, Alice in the Country of Clover: Bloody Twins is set for publication in June, 2012; followed in July by Alice in the Country of Clover: Cheshire Cat Waltz Vol. 1.  And then in September comes Alice in the Country of Clover: Cheshire Cat Waltz Vol. 2.

Nozumu Tamaki’s seinen manga series Dance in the Vampire Bund is one of Seven Seas most popular releases.  A sexy new supernatural series from Vampire Bund creator Tamaki should also do very well.  The first volume of Angel Para Bellum will be released in July, followed by Vol. 2 in September.
