The increasing frenzy around Kickstarter projects has hit a new high.  Kickstarter project Sullivan’s Sluggers, a 200-page hardcover graphic novel to be produced by Mark Andrew Smith and James Stokoe, has producers and screenwriters, according to Hollywood Reporter. The producers are Todd Garner of Broken Road Production and Adma Herz and Joshua Shader of Terra Firma Films.  The screenwriters are Tom and Tim Mullen, who co-wrote the short MLB vs. Survivor. 

The Kickstarter project, which as of this writing has 17 days to go, has already raised nearly $49,000 on a goal of $6,000.  Sullivan’s Sluggers will tell the story of a minor league baseball team battling flesh eating monsters.
