Icons of the horror genre in film and comics Wes Craven (Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream)and Steve Niles (Criminal Macabre, 30 Days of Night) are partnering on Coming of Rage, to be released as a five-issue comic book series and graphic novel collection, launching in early 2013 from Liquid Comics. As with other Liquid endeavors (Grant Morrison's 18 Days, Barry Sonnenfeld and Grant Morrison's Dinosaurs Vs. Aliens), the publisher is planning a variety of digital endeavors alongside the print run to accommodate a variety of platforms.
This appears to be the unspecified graphic novel project announced by Liquid and Craven at the 2010 San Diego Comic Con (see "Wes Craven to Create Graphic Novel"), in conjunction with producer Arnold Rifkin of Cheyenne Enterprises. Rifkin is developing a film adaptation of the series with Craven and Sharad Devarajan, Liquid Comics co-founder and CEO.
