A room full of Daleks, dinosaurs on a spaceship, nasty big game hunters, and an Egyptian princess--these are just of few of the intriguing storylines that are teased in the new BBC trailer for the
Seventh Series of the revamped
Doctor Who TV show. The Doctor and his friends appear to be in considerable danger as they stand in the middle of an ampitheater filled with Daleks, though a later shot in the trailer
(spoiler alert) shows that the exterminating cyborgs have themselves been killed, and the Time Lord answers a query about who killed all the Daleks, by looking straight into the camera and saying, "Who do you think?"
The
Seventh Series of the revamped
Doctor Who series went into production in February. It features Matt Smith as the Eleventh Doctor, who appears to be joined once again by his companion Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) and her husband Rory Williams (Arthur Darvill).
Series Seven is slated for broadcast in the U.K. (and the U.S.) in late 2012.
