Marvel has announced that Kieron Gillen (writer) and Greg Land (art) will be the creative team on Iron Man #1, a new Marvel NOW! title shipping in November. The story features the lethal techno virus Extremis, which is out in the wild and up for grabs. Stark has to contain it and that means a new suit of armor.
The first five issues will all be stand-alone stories, Gillen said on Marvel.com, that will share a defining motif and a plot, but each will feature new instances of technology and a new villain. The second issue will use knight imagery; issue three is a ninja story; #4 is a horror story; and #5 is more romantic and scientific.
