The second clip released from the animated adaptation of Frank Miller’s classic The Dark Knight Returns once again demonstrates the power of Miller’s character designs in its portrayal of the Mutant Leader whose forces are attempting to take over Gotham City in the sprawling saga. 

 

Like the first clip released by Warner Bros. (see "First Clip From 'The Dark Knight Returns, Pt. 1'"), this new promo demonstrates that the writer Bob Goodman and director Jay Oliva appear to be hewing very closely to Miller’s original narrative.  The Dark Knight Returns, Pt. 1 will be released on DVD, Blu-ray, and digitally on September 25th with the second portion due sometime in early 2013.
