Published in conjunction with Guillotine Games and Studio McVey, The Others is a horror game about temptation and corruption, designed by Eric Lang (Quarriors!, Marvel Dice Masters, Chaos in the Old World).  "The 7 Sins have become these monsters incarnate," Reeve explained.  "They are going around destroying these cities, and the players are the last bastion for humanity in these cities.  Each Sin plays a little bit differently, and a human opponent plays as the monsters, and he goes around corrupting the city, and advancing this doomsday tract."  The players attempt to dispel the contamination of evil, but the power they use has a corrupting factor.

CMON was releasing 25 special edition unpainted plastic miniatures each day at Gen Con as a preview.  "The miniature itself will be part of the final board game.  It’s a way to show people what they can expect from the miniatures in The Others when the board game finally releases," Reeve said.  The miniatures are sculpted by Jacques-Alexandre Gillois, Remy Tremblay and Juan Perez, and will be manufactured by Dust Studio of Paolo Parente.  The game is planned for release in early to mid-2015.

CMON was also previewing several upcoming releases at the show, including XenoShyft Onslaught (see "'XenoShyft Onslaught'"), Arcadia Quest (see "CMON's 'Arcadia Quest'"), theTeam Boxes for Kaos Ball (see "'Kaosball' Team Boxes"), expansions for Rivet Wars, and a new faction for the Dark Age miniatures game.  Arcadia Quest is tentatively planned to hit trade by November, with the Rivet Wars expansions planned for late September or early October release.  The Kaos Ball team box expansions will be releasing throughout the rest of the year, and organized play is in the works.  "The league play rules are being finalized," Reeve said.

CMON was also playtesting B-Sieged, a cooperative tower defense game designed by partner Second Gate Games.  Players defend the citadel against waves of miniature monsters, defending specific zones while attack.  Release plans have not been finalized.
