Dark Horse will publish new Star Wars collections through November, and will be selling off its stock of over 200 Star Wars collections through March 2015, according to Michael Martens, VP-Business Development of Dark Horse Comics.

The remaining Star Wars collections from Dark Horse are listed below.  All are trade paperback collections except the Gallery Edition, which is a $99.99 hardcover reproducing original art pages of Star Wars: Dark Times #1-#5. The titles are listed with release dates for comic store dates; book channel dates are 13 days after the dates listed here:

  • Star Wars Vol. 3:  Rebel Girl (October 1)
  • Star Wars: Darth Maul--Son of Dathomir (October 1)
  • Star Wars: Rebel Heist (October 8)
  • Star Wars Legacy II Vol. 4:  Empire of One (October 15)
  • Star Wars (2013) Vol. 4:  A Shattered Hope (October 15)
  • Star Wars:  Dark Times--The Path to Nowhere Gallery Edition (November 5)
Dark Horse’s Star Wars backlist, some 200 volumes, is going through a series of progressive discount incentives to the trade through all distribution channels, with the exception of the Q4 titles above, which will be marked down in Q1 2015.

Marvel will begin to release its collections of Dark Horse Star Wars material, which are completely different from the way Dark Horse configured its collections, in April 2015 (see "Marvel to Release Dark Horse 'Star Wars' Collections").  It will begin releasing new comic titles in January (see "Marvel Launching Three 'Star Wars' Comics"), along with hardcover collections of the Star Wars comics first published by Marvel in the 1970s and 80s (see "Marvel Kicks Off 'Star Wars' Program").

Marvel announced at the beginning of this year that it would take over comic publishing for titles based on sister company Lucasfilm’s properties in 2015 (see "Marvel Gets 'Star Wars'").
