Renegade Games has announced updated details for the Double Feature movie card game, designed by John Kovalic (with credits also for Sean Weitner, JM Rasmus and John Sams). It has also announced plans to give a free advance copy to retailers attending the GAMA Trade Show in March (see "2015 GAMA Trade Show").
The game was initially announced for release this year by Cryptozoic Entertainment (see "Kovalic 'Double Feature' Movie Card Game"), but former Crytozoic COO Scott Gaeta acquired the publishing rights when he left the company to form Renegade (see "Crypto Vet Forms Renegade Games").
The game is for 3-10 players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 20-35 minutes. Game play is the same as previously announced, but the box now contains 160 cards (previously 120) and has an MSRP of $20.00.
