MegaCon Games will release two expansions for its popular cooperative fantasy game Myth. The two expansions: Blackwall Warrens and Shores of Kanis, were funded during a recent Myth: Journeyman Kickstarter campaign. Trade release is planned for 2016.

Each expansion deals with a different realms, Shores of Kanis explores the sand-blasted land of Okian, while Blackwall Warrens is set in the sprawling ruins under the city of Blackwall. Each focuses on new expanded aspects of the hero experience - light (Kanis) or dark (Blackwall).  Each expansion also added a new hero type (Swashbuckler or Outsider), new monsters, bosses, traps, and a new orange tier of weapons and gear.  There is a new module system, new realm tiles, and rules for capture and interrogation.

The Shores of Kanis box includes 28 plastic miniatures, 8 tiles, 35 items cards, 91 hero cards, 7 monster cards, 10 darkness cards, 15 quest cards, counters, new merchants, and expansion rules.

The Blackwall Warrens box includes 28 plastic miniatures, 8 tiles, 35 items cards, 91 hero cards, 6 monster cards, 10 darkness cards, 15 quest cards, counters, new merchants, and expansion rules.

The expansions, like the base game, were funded via Kickstarter (see “ 'MYTH' Fantasy Game”), and the campaign raised $972,886 from 4,739 backers ($205.29 / backer average). The expansions were available separately for $60.00 each, or $120.00 for the set, and each included updated Myth 2nd Edition printed materials.  As expansions, the base game is required to play. Specific trade release date and MSRP was not available.
