Blomkamp revealed earlier this year he would be working on the next Alien film, which will be set after next year’s Prometheus 2 (see “'District 9' Director to Make 'Alien' Film”).
Dark Horse Comics recently began releasing trade collections of its overlapping Fire and Stone crossover miniseries, which connected the fictional universes of the Prometheus, Alien, Predator, and Alien vs Predator franchises. A complete hardcover collection containing the entire series, plus additional content is due from Dark Horse in October.
Game company Upper Deck has licenses for Predator and Alien, which it has utilized for releases in its Legendary Encounters deck-building game. It also teased that the properties may be utilized in future VS. System card game releases (see “Details on First Marvel 'VS. System' Release”).
