Frank Miller will write a fourth chapter to his Dark Knight saga, which will take place after the upcoming Dark Knight III: The Master Race miniseries launching later this month (see “ Frank Miller's Cover for 'Dark Knight III' Minicomic”).

"I thoroughly applaud what [Brian Azzarello’s] doing. But now that he's doing his, it's now a four-part series," Miller told Newsarama in an interview. "I'm doing the fourth."  Miller was referring to The Dark Knight III: The Master Race which Azzarello (100 Bullets, Joker, Wonder Woman) co-scripted.  Miller said he supported DKIII, but having read it, he now plans to create a fourth volume.

DC just announced a Dark Knight one-shot for February written by Miller and Azzarello (see “'Dark Knight' One-Shot, Collectibles”).
