Z-Man Games' parent F2Z Entertainment has announced that Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu will be released at Gen Con.

The game is designed by Chuck D. Yager (Zombies vs. Werewolves, Rise of Cthulhu) and Matt Leacock (Pandemic).  In a game inspired by Lovecraft mythology, players take the role of investigators trying to seal cosmic portals around worrisome locations before beings of ancient evil, the Old Ones, break out of their prison into our world. But how to proceed when every move could lead to abject insanity?

The box contains: 7 investigator figures, 26 cultist figures, 3 Shoggoth figures, 4 Seal tokens, 44 Clue cards, 12 Relic cards, 24 Summoning cards, 7 Investigator cards, 4 Player’s Aid cards, 12 Old One cards, 16 Sanity tokens, 1 Sanity die, a board and a rulebook.

The game is for 2-4 players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 40 minutes. MSRP was not announced.
