Sherman Oaks, CA auction house Van Eaton Galleries will be hosting a “Collecting Disney” auction of rare Disney memorabilia from multiple sources, according to THRThe auction will take place on June 18. 

Listed among the items is the hand-written score for the Mickey Mouse cartoon song “Minnie’s Yoo-Hoo,” the first original song composed for a Walt Disney cartoon. The song, written by Carl Starling, also became the theme song for the Mickey Mouse Club (estimated value $15,000-$25,000).

Annette Funicello’s personal Mickey Mouse Club mouse ears will be up for auction, as well as a club sweater worn by the star. Both items come directly from Funicello’s estate and the proceeds from both items will benefit the Annette Funicello Research Fund for Neurological Diseases.

A set of Disneyland blueprints, which depict the original park, were recently discovered by the widow of the original train builder, will be part of the auction (estimated value $15,000-$20,000).

There are also several individual illustrations drawn by Walk Disney’s collaborator Ub Iwerks, which depict scenes from the first two Mickey Mouse cartoons Steamboat Willie and Plane Crazy (estimated value $4,000-$6,000 each).

One of the first Mickey Mouse Dolls ever made, hand signed by Walt Disney, is also up for auction (estimated value $25,000-$50,00000).

Finally, a complete Disney Studios animator’s office from around 1940, designed by Kem Weber, will be sold as a set. The collection includes a desk, sitting chair, closet, and floor lamps (estimated value $60,000-$80,0000).
