In Shadow Games, the players are the leaders of the guilds of Guild Ball, manipulating political favors in the hope of attracting new star players for their guild’s team. Cards representing agents and plots can be used to gain favors, but players are encouraged to bluff when they play their cards, and can claim that the card they played is anything they want it to be. Successful bluffs are rewarded, but a player that gets caught must pay penalties.
