DC is moving to release the first of its highly successful Rebirth content in additional formats.  The company will release its first Rebirth collections in January, and is soliciting for two Rebirth Director’s Cut first issues for December.

DC launched Rebirth earlier this year (see "DC Tops Marvel's Market Share in Comic Stores for July"), and the company is already soliciting collections for several of the titles.  Each includes the Rebirth one-shot for the title and the first issues of the relaunched series:

  • Aquaman Vol. 1: The Drowning TP (Jan. 11)
  • Batman Vol 1: I am Gotham TP (Jan. 11)
  • The Flash Vol. 1: Lightning Strikes Twice TP (Jan. 18)
  • Green Arrow Vol. 1: The Death and Life of Oliver Queen TP (Jan. 4)
  • Green Lanterns Vol 1: Rage Planet TP (Jan. 25)
  • Justice League Vol. 1: The Extinction Machine TP (Jan. 18)
  • Nightwing Vol. 1: Better Than Batman TP (Jan. 25)
  • Superman Vol. 1: Son of Superman TP (January 4)

The Suicide Squad #1 Director’s Cut will release on December 7.  Rob Williams writes, with art by Jim Lee and Jason Fabok.  The art will be pencils-only in this Director’s Cut special.  All Star Batman #1 Director’s Cut  will release on December 21.  The story it written by Scott Snyder with art by John Romita Jr.  The art will be pencils-only in this Director’s Cut special.
