IDW Games will publish KnA Games’ intergalactic cargo delivery game Space Movers 2201 in November.

Designed by Kevin Cox and April Cox, the game sets players in the roles of crew on the spaceship Liberty. Players must work together to accomplish a series of objectives to win the game. However, every turn, the ship loses a resource from the Resource Bar on the board. These can be replenished by delivering cargo. There is also the UO Scout ship chasing the Liberty across the galaxy, snatching crew members to interrogate when they catch up. This temporarily removes a player from the game, and raises the UO Presence bar on the board. If the bar reaches the top, it’s game over. If that weren’t enough obstacles, the game also comes with Event cards which can stop the Liberty in its tracks, or double the UO Scout ship’s movement. If players can complete the Liberty’s objectives in spite of these obstacles, they win.

The box contains a Finding Liberty comic, a rulebook, a game board, 2 ship tokens, 9 UO eye markers, 20 cargo markers, 1 UO coin token, 7 character cards, 7 character tokens, 1 drone token, 10 plastic stands, 7 character dice, 1 blank die, 1 double-sided roll mat, 1 box stand, 60-card draw deck, 5 adventure objective cards, 20 random objective cards resource & UO bar tokens, 1 bonus roll mat, and 5 bonus adv. objective cards. The game is for 2 – 7 players, and plays in 90 minutes. MSRP is $59.99.

KnA produced the game with Kickstarter campaign that raised $26,059 from 357 backers ($72.99 / backer average) in November 2014.
