Ultra PRO Entertainment has made a deal with publisher PieceKeeper Games for an exclusive worldwide license for Kirk Dennison’s hit board game Flag Dash

Flag Dash imagines the classic children’s game Capture the Flag played by adults.  The competitors have special abilities, determined by their persona as Wanna-be Ninja, Modern Cowboy, Crazy Cat Lady, or others.  Players must secretly plot their moves, trying to outguess their opponents so they can grab the flag and get it home.

The Ultra PRO version of Flag Dash will feature upgraded components and packaging.  The game will include 6 wooden pawns designed so they can hold the 2 wooden flags, 38 cards, 78 tokens, 4 player screens, and a double-sided gameboard.  The game is playable by 2 to 4 players, ages 10 and up, and plays in about 30 minutes.

PieceKeeper has sold out of the game.  Ultra Pro expects to have its version of the game on the market by March.  The MSRP has not yet been announced.

Ultra PRO recently signed a license to produce games based on Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (see “Ultra Pro Gets ‘Valerian’ for Board and Card Games, Accessories”).
