Disney/Pixar unveiled an extended trailer for Cars 3 which finally delves into the story.

After reliving the explosive accident shown in the teaser trailer (see “'Cars 3' Teaser Trailer”), the story picks up at 0:40 with the grave pronunciation “You will never be the racer you once were. Accept it.” Lightening McQueen must face a long road to rehabilitation, and new threats like Jackson Storm (see “Disney Rolls Out the New Models for 'Cars 3'”).

The film opens in theaters on June 16.
