This autumn, Indie Boards & Cards will produce the dungeon-building board game Delve.

Created by Richard Launius (Arkham Horror, Defenders of the Realm) and Pete Shirey, Delve combines elements of tile-laying and dungeon-crawl games.  During the game, players construct the dungeon using tiles, while placing their adventurers to search for loot.  As dungeon areas are completed, the adventurers fight each other or the dungeon’s inhabitants for treasures with head-to-head dice rolls.

Delve includes 145 cards, 76 dungeon tiles, 9 custom dice, 20 tiles, 4 faction mats, xp tokens, and 1 game board.  The game is for 2 to 4 players, and takes about an hour to play.  MSRP has not been announced.

Indie Boards & Cards is funding the project through a Kickstarter campaign, which broke its $30,000 goal in the second day.  Backers will receive their copies of the game this summer, with release into the trade to follow.

Last year, Indie Boards & Cards merged with Action Phase Games (see “Indie Boards and Cards and Action Phase Games to Merge”).
