Jim Crocker of Modern Myths on Days of Wonder Exclusive

Smells of ‘Desperation or Laziness’

July 2, 2008

Jim Crocker of Modern Myths in Northampton, Massachusetts, saw the news about Days of Wonder going exclusive with Diamond-Alliance (see “Days of Wonder Goes Exclusive”) and says the move smells of “either desperation or laziness:”

If information is the problem, then couldn't Days of Wonder have simply required any distributor selling their product to provide the information they needed as part of their sales terms?

I smell either desperation or laziness.  I have trouble sympathizing with someone crying abut how hard it is to keep track of TEN customers when my subscriber list runs to 200+.
