Cryptozoic Entertainment will release True Blood: Night Eternal, a new card game from the HBO series.  Cryptozoic COO Scott Gaeta explained the concept.  "It breaks the fourth wall," he said.  "The premise behind the game is that it’s an ancient game that vampires have been playing for thousands of years, and a human stole a copy of the game, brought it to Cryptozoic, and we’re publishing it.  The cards in the game don’t have pictures of Bill and Sooki on them; they actually have ancient art from vampire lore.  It’s a game they’ve been playing for thousands of years and now we’re publishing it.  So vampires aren’t too happy about it."
The game is for three to five players 15 and up, and plays in 30 to 45 minutes.  It will retail for $24.95.
