Thomas Gaul was elected president of the ComicsPRO board of directors at the recently completed Annual Meeting of the comic retailer organization near Atlanta.  Gaul is the owner of Corner Store Comics and Beach Ball Comics in Anaheim, California. Gaul replaces Joe Field, who had held the position since the organization’s founding in 2004. Gaul’s name was put into nomination by Field.
Other officers elected at the meeting were Carr D’Angelo of Earth 2 Comics as vice president, replacing Gary Dills, Jr., of Laughing Ogre; and Calum Johnston of Strange Adventures as recording secretary, replacing Gaul. 
Ralph Mathieu of Alternate Reality Comics in Las Vegas was elected to the board of directors, joining Gaul, D’Angelo, Johnston, Field, Dills, and Eric Kirsammer of Chicago Comics.
