Privateer Press is launching its own paint line in October with proprietary colors specifically matched to its miniatures. 

The Formula P3 brand of paints features a unique paint formula and colors not available from other hobby paint manufacturers.  For example, the Protectorate set contains a burgundy color, which is not availabe in other paint lines and is difficult for hobbyists to mix on their own.

The launch will include six 6-packs of paints to match base and highlight colors for different Warmachine factions, including Cygnar, Khador, Protectorate, Cryx and Mercenary and the Iron Kingdom Core set.  Sets are priced at $17.99 MSRP.

Privateer will begin with single colors in January. 

Also in 2007, Privateer will position its paints for use with Hordes miniatures as well.
