An expansion for Repos Production’s hit two-player card game, 7 Wonders Duel, Pantheon, will release in the fourth quarter of this year through Asmodee.

The new expansion, from the team of Antoine Bauza and Bruno Cathala, introduces the gods and goddesses from five different ancient pantheons that the players can attempt to curry favor from through the use of Mythology and Offering tokens.  Then, the player can use their divine patrons’ abilities instead of taking cards during the later Ages.  "Ritual spaces" can also be built in a player’s city to score bonus points.

7 Wonders Duel: Pantheon will include 1 Pantheon board, 15 Divinity cards, 5 Grand Temple cards, 1 Gate card, 2 new Wonders, 17 tokens, a pawn, and a scoring notepad.  As an expansion, a copy of the base game is needed to play.  MSRP is $24.99.

The base 7 Wonders Duel game was recently awarded the Origins Award for the best new Card Game of 2015 (see "2016 Origins Award Winners").
