DC Comics is unleashing more zany crossovers between the World’s Greatest Superheroes and classic Hanna-Barbera characters.  The four new crossover adventures will be on sale October 31.  Each 48-page one-shot has an MSRP of $4.99 and features a Secret Squirrel backup story form J.M. DeMatteis (Scooby Apocalypse) and artist Tom Mandrake (The Spectre).

Deathstroke / Yogi Bear Special #1 is from Frank Tieri (Harley Quinn) and artist Mark Texeira (Jonah Hex).  Tyler Kirkham (Deathstroke) covers the issue, with a variant by Paolo Pantalena (Deathstroke).  Yellowstone Park’s Ranger Smith calls on Deathstroke to deal with the spirit bear known as the Yogi, who has graduated from stealing pic-i-nic baskets to kidnapping.

Mark Russell (The Flintstones) and artist Rick Leonardi (Star Wars) set Green Lantern / Huckleberry Hound Special #1 against the turbulent 1970s in a story that sees John Stewart returning from duty in Vietnam and Hucklberry Hound made pariah over anti-Vietnam War comments.  Sami Basri (Power Girl) provides a main cover, with a variant by Yasmine Putri.

Nightwing / Magilla Gorilla Special
#1 from Heath Corson (Bizarro) and artist Tom Grummett (Superman) finds Dick Grayson teaming up with Magilla Gorilla to clear the latter’s name after he’s accused of murdering his talent agent.  Marcus To (Nightwing) covers the issue, with a variant from Jonboy Meyers (Teen Titans).

DC co-publisher Dan DiDio teams up with artist Shane Davis (Superman / Batman) for Superman / Top Cat Special #1.  Davis also provides the main cover, and Emanuela Lupacchino (Supergirl) provides a variant cover for the issue, which finds Top Cat and Superman facing down a dietary danger that threatens mankind.

DC launched their teen-friendly Hanna-Barbera line in 2016 (see “DC to Launch New Hanna-Barbera Line”), producing several one-shot crossovers (see “Team-Ups That Boggle the Mind” and “DC Expands Hanna-Barbera Line”) and series (see “'Dastardly & Muttley'” and “'The Jetsons' Make Comics Space Age”).
