Palladium Books, in partnership with Paramount Consumer Products, will launch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles & Other Strangeness RPG onto Kickstarter on October 31, 2023.
This book, authored by Erick Wujick with illustration by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, was first published back in 1985. The crowd-funding campaign will attempt to revive the core RPG and its sourcebook as two deluxe hardcover collections. The design for these books will be remastered by Sean Owen Roberson, and Eastman will render a brand-new painted cover for the main book.
“I am 1000% onboard to help bring this historic and original TMNT Role Playing Game series back in a truly deluxe collector’s edition that will thrill original fans and open the door for new ones,” said Eastman. “I've made all my archives available for expanded behind-the-scenes content as well as a few top secret surprises you need to be part of. Stay tuned!”
The books will include new artwork, tributes to the original TMNT comic and RPG creators, and other bonus material. This Kickstarter will also offer up other exclusives like TMNT miniatures, dice sets, variant book covers, art prints, a card deck, and more.
