With the HBO adaptation of George R.R. Martin's Game of Thrones coming to an end in 2018, there just might be another cable series based on a Martin-created saga about to debut.

Although there have been no recent hints of a second stand-alone Superman film in the expanded Warner Bros. DC Cinematic Universe, back in 2014 a Man of Steel sequel was slated for 2018.
