According to Variety, a group of European companies announced they will produce a second season of the Dragon Hunters animated series. The first season of the French cartoon ran in the U.S. on the Cartoon Network in 2006 and is currently available through its online service, Cartoon Network Video.  Geneon released the first season on five (7+)volumes in 2006, each selling for $19.98 retail.

A separate pair of European firms is planning a feature film adaptation of Dragon Hunters.

Dragon Hunters is the tale of a sword-wielding warrior and his timid companion who hunt for evil dragons in a futuristic medieval world.
