Caliber Comics will release Deadworld: Chronicles, an anthology exploring the post-apocalyptic zombie wasteland of the cult favorite Deadworld universe in February.

The anthology features all-new zombie stories from Caliber publisher and long-time Deadworld writer Gary Reed and Deadworld creator Stuart Kerr. Colin Clayton (The Searchers) also writes, and Mark Bloodworth (Hellraiser), Wayne Reid (El Cid), and Steve Beckett (Futurequake) provide art. The 126-page, black-and-white trade paperback has an MSRP of $12.99. It will be in stores on February 22.

Deadworld debuted in 1987. Originally published by Arrow, the series consists of more than 100 issues and has also been published by Image Comics, IDW, and Desperado. Earlier this year, Caliber released Deadworld: Requiem for the World, which collects the 2005 Image miniseries series written by Reed and illustrated by Vince Locke (see “Caliber Comics to Offer Collections in 'Previews.'”)

When the Caliber relaunched in 2014 after a 13-year hiatus, it originally collected existing material from its 1990s heyday (see “Caliber Comics Returns.”) Recently, Caliber has shifted toward releasing more new material, including Deadworld: Chronicles
