Using games in an educational setting to further educational goals is a major theme of Games Expo 2007 and it is fitting that the first retailer seminar, which is scheduled for Sunday at noon, is being presented by David Niecikowski, who will explain how to approach, identify needs, demo, and close sales with educators and parents. Related topics include servicing educators with manufacturer lesson plans and school promotions to increase sales and traffic.
Next at 1 pm Eugene Waara of Stonebridge Games discusses how to make your store a virtual community center, followed by a presentation by Bob Brynildson of The Source Comics & Games in
Cheryl Stern, Founder of The Game Keeper, a 98-store retail chain, discusses management side accountability in 'Management Side, Sales Side' at 1 pm, and then Stern leads a panel discussion on 'The Changing Market' at 2 pm followed by a human resources workshop, 'Never Having to Say You're Fired' from 3 pm to 6 pm.
