Dynamite Entertainment has added another popular property to its growing roster of licensed comics thanks to an agreement that will allow it to publish comics featuring the characters from the 1991 movie hit Terminator 2: Judgment Day.  The time traveling cyborgs T-800 (Schwarzenegger) and T-1000 (Robert Patrick) will appear first in a T2 comic book series that will also feature Sarah and John Connor.  Later in 2007, according to Dynamite's Publisher Nick Barrucci, the Terminators will be involved in a crossover series 'battling another group of popular mechanical icons.'

Few details about the creative teams for either series have been announced, though Newsarama has posted an interview with Simon Furman, who is writing the first T2 series.  Given Furman's extensive experience in writing for the Transformers, there has already been considerable speculation about the identity of that 'other group of popular mechanical icons.'
