According to Home Video Magazine, Rhino Entertainment is redoubling promotional efforts behind its classic Transformers DVDs including Beast Wars Transformers, Beast Machine Transformers, and Transformers Armada to take advantage of interest generated by the Transformers movie coming out on July 4th.

The Beast Wars Transformers series ran from 1996-99.  Season One lists for $59.95, and Seasons Two and Three each list for $29.95.  Beast Machines Transformers (1999-2000) comes in a four-DVD set that lists for $59.95. Transformers Armada (2002-03), which is unrelated to other series' storylines, comes as two four-disk sets listing for $49.95, and individual compilation DVDs are available for $11.95 MSRP.

Home video rights to the original '80s Transformers series used to belong to Rhino, but currently belong to Sony Wonder, which is reportedly showing indications that it is in the process of closing its doors.  Sony Wonder issued a 20th anniversary DVD of the Transformers animated movie (see 'Three Versions of Transformers Movie'), but there's no sign of the expected original series DVDs.
