Liv Tyler, a fan favorite thanks to her role in Lord of the Rings, will portray Betty Ross, Bruce Banners longtime love interest and ally in the new Marvel Hulk film directed by Louis Leterrier and starring Edward Norton as the not so jolly green giant.  Jennifer Connelly portrayed Betty Ross in Ang Lee's less-than-stellar Hulk movie.

In other Hulk news, screenwriter Zak Penn let the film's villain out of the bag in an interview at the Tribeca Film Festival where he revealed that the bad guy would be 'the Abomination,' but Penn also noted that he won't be called that in the new movie because 'it's a silly, silly name.'  Evidently what works on the page doesn't always translate to the silver screen.
