Fantasy Flight Games is distributing highly detailed, pre-painted 1/144 scale tank models from the World Tank Museum line of armored fighting vehicles produced by Kaiyodo, one of Japan's foremost model producers. Four tanks are available now from the Battle of the Bulge Series including the American Sherman tank and the German Panther, with single tanks priced at $4.95 and 5-packs for $19.99, but this fall Fantasy Flight will release miniatures game rules that will enable gamers to utilize their tanks in all sorts of combat situations ranging from one-on-one action to mass battles.

A second series of tanks, which will enable players to recreate the largest tank battle of the Second World War that took place at Kursk in the Soviet Union, will include 7 single tank, half-track and other armored vehicles skus as well as three different 5-packs, which are perfect for building up a major tank force. The stars of the Kursk Series will be the Russian T-34 tank and an early version of the German Tiger tank, which, along with the British Centurion, were the top tanks WWII.
The third series of vehicles, which is due out in October, will be known as D-Day Breakout, and it will include six more armored vehicles plus pre-mounted, pre-painted infantry.
