Rackham, the French miniature games manufacturer, has announced its July releases, which include numerous items for both AT 43, its science fiction squad-level miniature war game, and Confrontation, its fantasy miniature war game set in the medieval fantasy world of Aarklash.
AT 43
Rackham's AT 43 releases kick off with the Army Book: Red Blok (MSRP $12.00), a 64-page full color rulebook that provides the history of the Red Blok and its heroic Revolutionary Forces, a complete list of its troops and armored fighting vehicles, special rules specific to the Revolutionary Forces, and information on three key factions.
In addition to the Red Blok book the July releases also include two box sets of Red Blok forces. The Kraznye Soldaty ($30.00) includes six detailed miniatures of soldiers meant to reinforce previously released Kraznye units and seven reference cards. The Spetnatz Komandos Box ($30.00) includes six elite commandos along with seven reference cards. In addition to the two infantry boxes Rackham is also releasing The Kossak ($40), a menacing type 2 strider with two rocket launchers.
Other July AT 43 releases include a set of 15 Reversible Gaming Tiles ($20.00); U.N.A. Unit Box: Death Dealer Tac Arms mecha ($30.00), a trio of heavily armored soldiers that come with 3 collector cards); and a ferocious U.N.A. Defender Snake ($40.00), a combat strider with great mobility and mind-blowing range.
The major Confrontation release in July is Les Molochs ($52.00), a box set containing four flying demons, who are among the most powerful creatures in the game especially when they can work together. From the other side of the moral ledger comes Angels of Light ($13.00), a set of three figures in a blister pack. Also due out in July is an array of superbly sculpted single figures that come individually blister-packed. The new figures include a Cynwall Pulsar (an elite fighter for the Republic of Lanever--$19.50), The Harlequin (a powerful figure in the Cadwallon RPG--$10.40), The Scarecrow (a champion for the army of Cadwallon--$10.40), Danil the Valiant (a champion paladin for the Kingdom of Alahan--$13.00), and Vijkhal the Brave (a potent Orc champion--$15.60).
