Sabertooth Games has an ambitious schedule for its Universal Fighting System CCG including releases for Street Fighter, Soul Calibur, SNK, and Darkstalkers all slated for the second half of 2007.  The UFS system supports play using characters from all the various aforementioned video game franchises in a grand 'battle royale' CCG format.

The Street Fighter Battle Pack (MSRP $19.99) due out on July 27th features two 60-card themed decks with 36 exclusive cards that players can use as a stand-alone game to create a Street Fighter-based 'Ryu versus Akuma' battle or in more broadly-focused UFS combats.  On November 16th Sabertooth will issue a second Street Fighter release, Street Fighter: Fight For the Future, a booster-only ($3.49 per 10-card pack) series that includes cards for Alex, Cammy, Chun-Li, Dhalsim, Gen, Gill, and Guile.

The UFS releases for August are UFS: Soul Calibur: Higher Calibur, a boosters-only ($3.49 per pack) series of 99 cards that includes the return of key Soul Calibur characters such as Ivy, Voldo, Cassandra, Astaroth, and Cervantes in exciting alternate costumes, and UFS: SNK: Fortune & Glory, a boosters-only ($3.49 per pack) 99-card expansion -- the first expansion for SNK's King of Fighters 2006 and Samurai Showdown since the base UFS set launched last December.

Finally in November Sabertooth is releasing Universal Fighting System: Darkstalkers, a 126-card set that introduces the popular horror-related Capcom Darkstalkers characters to the UFS mix (see 'Sabertooth Adds Darkstalkers').
