Scott Moore of Galaxy Comics in Saginaw, Michigan saw the news about Wal-Mart and Target DVD Sales (see 'Wal-Mart, Target Dominate DVD Sales') and wonders what their profits would be if DVD pricing was closer to the MSRP:

 

Just imagine how much money they would make if they sold DVDs at anywhere near the MSRP!  I know the studios don't care because they get the same cut no matter what the final price to the consumer but what if Wal-Mart and Target sold DVDs for more than a $0.50 (or whatever razor thin markup they use) profit per disc?
