Bandai Entertainment announced four new 2008 North American launches at Otakon: Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion, Ayakashi Ayashi, Toward the Terra, and My Otome Zwei, and confirmed plans to release Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny: Final Plus as a stand-alone DVD.

 

From Sunrise studio, Code Geass is a military drama written by Goro Taniguchi (s-CRY-ed, Planetes) and Ichiro Okouchi with character designs by CLAMP in which Lelouch seeks to overthrow a totalitarian regime that has invaded Japan.  The series will be dubbed by ZRO Limit Productions and there are plans for a TV broadcast in 2008.

 

Ayakashi Ayashi from BONES studio (Cowboy Bebop-the Movie, Wolf's Rain, Eureka Seven) is a supernatural adventure set in feudal Japan with character designs by Toshihiro Kawamoto (Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain).

 

Toward the Terra has character designs by Nobuteru Yuki  (Escaflowne, Record of Lodoss War) and tells the story of the Mu (evolved humans) who want to return to their abandoned mother planet, Terra. And My-Otome Zwei is a four-volume OAV series that picks up one year after the My-Otome series.

 

And, Bandai confirmed plans to release Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny: Final Plus, a reworking of the final episode of Gundam Seed Destiny.
