ADV announced that it has acquired North American home video and broadcast rights to the supernatural action series Venus Versus Virus, the sci-fi series Moonlight Mile, and the stand-alone feature Jing, King of Bandits: Seventh Heaven at Otakon.
The Venus Versus Virus 12-episode series from Studio Hibari (Nerima Daikon Brothers) is directed by Shinichiro Kimura (Maburaho, Burn Up Excess) and first appeared on Japanese TV in January of this year. The episodes will be released over three DVDs, with volume 1 slated for November release. Venus Versus Virus is based on the popular manga series which was recently released in the
Moonlight Mile comes from production teams at Studio Hibari and Imagica (Azumanga Daioh, Peacemaker) and follows the adventures of two men from the International Space Agency who are sent into space to harness a new energy resource for the depleted Earth.

Jing, King of Bandits: Seventh Heaven is a stand-alone feature of the Jing series directed by Hiroshi Watanabe (Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok, Slayers) and animated by the production team at Aniplex (Rurouni Kenshin, Gurren Lagann). In Seventh Heaven, Jing gets sent to the most dangerous prison complex in the world in order to get information and his hands on a special treasure.
