Deadworld rights holder (and writer) Gary Reed is joining forces with the Ohio-based game publisher Seraphim Guard to create a Deadworld RPG that will utilize the Chaosium BRP system and will debut at Wizard World Chicago in 2008.  A precursor of today's numerous zombie comics, Reed's Deadworld , which was created by Stuart Kerr and Ralph Griffith in 1987, was published by Arrow Comics and then by Caliber and Image.  Deadworld has just moved to Desperado Publishing and Desperado will begin publishing the series soon.

Deadworld is the first game to license the new Chaosium BRP (Basic Role-Playing) D-100 system that will be released later this year.  Seraphim Guard is best known for publishing Heartquest, a shojo anime RPG that was the first commercially produced Fudge system game.
