Pokemon USA has announced the November 7th release of the latest expansion of the Pokemon TCG, Pokemon Diamond & Pearl: Secret Wonders, which will add 130 cards including a number of new Pokemon characters to collect.  Though not as popular as it was during its phenomenal run at the turn of the century, the Pokemon property is in the midst of a major revival (ICv2 has identified the Pokemon TCG as the top game in the all important CCG category -- see 'Pokemon TCG Sales Tripling in 2007').

The new expansion will be available in both 60-card theme decks (Powerhouse and Lavaflow), which will retail for $11.99, as well as in 10-card booster packs, which have a suggested retail price of $3.79.  In addition to 60 cards, the theme decks come with a unique coin, an updated rulebook, card list, a one-player playmat, and damage counters.
