Russ Toney of C & C Comics in St. Albans, West Virginia sent us this great story of a true class act -- Wildstorm's Jim Lee:

I just returned from Diamond Comics Retailer Summit in Baltimore.  As always, many things happened there, but one thing stands out above all others.  And that was Jim Lee.  At the dinner Monday night during the DC Comics presentation, Jim Lee put himself up for auction to raise money for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.  Jim offered an in-store signing and said he would pay his own airfare, hotel and even sleep in the winner's basement if needed.

The wining bid was $7,500.00 from a shop in Washington D.C.

The entire comic industry owes Jim a round of cheers for this amazing act.

Thanks Jim, for showing true class.
